About Shelby

Shelby was employed with RSPCA Victoria at only fifteen years of age. Within her five years of service with the leading animal welfare organisation she spent time working in almost every department learning as much as she could about animal welfare, care and complex case management. After a decade of working within behavioural departments of the Lost Dogs Home, Blue Cross Animals Society, Petbarn and Animal Aid, this devotion to animal welfare caused her small business to emerge.

Today Shelby works alongside her dog training community both in sheltering and private practice as they undergo behaviour modification training plans, and educates other pet professionals through staff training and seminars. Shelby is obsessed with education and so is always studying on the side.

Shelby enjoys multiple outdoor activities that align with her cruelty free, plant based lifestyle, particularly hikes and camping with her partner, catching some waves, or a good book with a glass, or two, of red wine. Shelby lives in a house of adopted rescues.
